Delete your Birthday+ account

1. From the app

• Open Birthday+ and go to the Profile tab.
• Tap “Account management”, then “Delete my account”.
• Confirm. Depending on how you sign in, the app asks for your password or for you to sign in again with Apple or Google.
• Deletion is immediate and permanent: it cannot be undone.
• Without an account (guest mode), tap “Erase my data” in the Profile tab.

2. Without the app

• Email contact@mindfoundrystudio.com from your account’s email address, with the subject “Birthday+ account deletion”. If you signed up with Apple and hid your address, say so: we will help you identify the account.
• We delete the account and its data within 30 days, and confirm the deletion by email.

3. What is deleted

• Your account: email address, name, identifier and password.
• Your list: every entry (first name, last name, nickname, date of birth, tag, notes, gift ideas, phone number) and their photos.
• Your shared gift lists and their reservations; their public pages stop existing.
• Your settings, your devices’ notification tokens and your messages to support.
• At our subscription (RevenueCat) and usage analytics (PostHog) providers, the data linked to your account (identifier, email, name, usage events) is deleted within 30 days.

4. What is kept

• Your purchase history (product, date, amount), without your name or email, for ten years, for our accounting obligations.
• Apple and Google keep their own history of your purchases, under their privacy policies.

5. Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store account settings (iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in the Google Play app (Subscriptions), otherwise it will keep renewing.
